We know billing questions are stressful — here's exactly how the guarantee works.

UVettd offers a full refund on your first paid subscription period if you request it within 7 days of your initial payment. This guarantee exists because we want you to feel confident trying a paid plan without financial risk.

What the Guarantee Covers

The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to your first billing period only — it does not apply to renewals. If you were on a paid plan, canceled, and then resubscribed, the guarantee does not apply to the second subscription.

The 7-day window starts from the date of your first payment, not the date you created your account. If you signed up and stayed on the free Curious tier for a week before upgrading, your 7 days begins when you completed the payment for Intentional or Devoted.

Annual Subscriptions

The 7-day guarantee applies to annual plans exactly as it does to monthly plans. If you purchased an annual subscription and request a refund within 7 days, you'll receive a full refund of the annual charge. After 7 days, annual plans are not refundable — there are no partial or pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of an annual billing period.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Send an email to support@uvettd.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your account email address and the date of the charge.
  3. You do not need to give a reason — just let us know you'd like a refund.
  4. Submit your request within 7 days of your first payment date.

You do not need to cancel your subscription before requesting a refund — our team will handle both steps together.

Processing Time

Refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment provider. Once approved, refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated.

What Happens to Your Account After a Refund

After a refund is processed, your account reverts to the Curious (free) tier automatically. All of your evaluations, CAMERA Method™ scores, and UVettd Compass results are preserved — nothing is deleted. You can pick up exactly where you left off if you choose to resubscribe.

App Store Subscribers

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your billing is managed entirely by Apple or Google. UVettd cannot issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases. To request a refund, contact Apple or Google support directly through your device's app store settings.

Common questions about this topic

Do I need to give a reason for my refund?
No. The 7-day money-back guarantee is unconditional for your first billing period. You don't owe us an explanation — just send the request to support@uvettd.com with subject "Refund Request" and we'll take care of it.
What happens to my evaluations after a refund?
All your data is preserved. After a refund, your account moves back to the Curious (free) tier and you can still view your evaluations within free tier limits. Nothing is deleted.
Does the guarantee apply to App Store subscriptions?
No. Apple and Google manage their own billing and refund processes. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you'll need to request a refund directly from Apple or Google. UVettd does not have access to App Store payment data.
What if I'm on day 8 — did I miss the window?
The guarantee strictly covers the first 7 days from your payment date. Outside that window, refunds are not guaranteed. That said, you're welcome to email support@uvettd.com and explain your situation — we'll do our best to help.
Does the 7-day window apply per plan tier or per account?
Per account, and only for your first paid billing period. The guarantee does not reset if you switch tiers or cancel and resubscribe.
