We know billing questions are stressful — here's exactly what our refund policy covers and how to request one.

UVettd's refund policy is built around one clear commitment: your first paid billing period is protected by a 7-day money-back guarantee. Beyond that window, we review requests on a case-by-case basis.

The 7-Day Guarantee

If you request a refund within 7 days of your first payment, you'll receive a full refund — no explanation required. This applies to both the Intentional ($29/mo) and Devoted ($49/mo) tiers. The 7-day window begins on the date of your payment, not the date you created your account.

This guarantee applies to your first billing period only. If you previously held a paid subscription, canceled, and then resubscribed, the guarantee does not apply to the new subscription period.

Annual Plan Refunds

The 7-day guarantee applies to annual subscriptions the same way it applies to monthly ones. If you purchased an annual plan and request a refund within 7 days, you'll receive the full annual charge back. After 7 days, annual plans are not refundable. There are no partial or pro-rata refunds for unused months on an annual plan.

Partial Period Refunds

Partial period refunds — for example, a refund for the last two weeks of a monthly billing cycle — are not offered outside the 7-day guarantee window. When you cancel a subscription, your access continues until the end of the paid period and no partial refund is issued.

Outside the 7-Day Window

If you're past the 7-day window, a refund is not guaranteed but we're willing to hear you out. Email support@uvettd.com with the subject line "Refund Request", include your account email, the date of the charge, and a brief description of your situation. We conduct discretionary reviews and will respond to every request.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@uvettd.com with subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your account email address.
  3. Include the date of the charge.
  4. Include a brief description of your situation (if outside the 7-day window).
  5. Our team will confirm receipt and process your request within one business day.

App Store Subscribers

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, UVettd cannot process your refund directly. Apple and Google manage their own billing, and all refund requests for App Store or Google Play purchases must go through them. Contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play Support through your Play Store account. UVettd has no access to App Store or Google Play payment records.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement. You'll receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated on our end.

What Happens to Your Account After a Refund

Your account returns to the Curious (free) tier after a refund is processed. All your data — evaluations, CAMERA Method™ scores, UVettd Compass results — is preserved. Nothing is deleted.

Common questions about this topic

I missed the 7-day window — is there anything I can do?
You're welcome to email support@uvettd.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line and explain your situation. While a refund isn't guaranteed outside the window, we review every request individually and do our best to work with you.
How long do refunds take to process?
Once approved, refunds are initiated through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. You'll receive a confirmation email when the refund is submitted.
Will I lose my data if I get a refund?
No. Your evaluations, CAMERA Method™ scores, and UVettd Compass results are all preserved after a refund. Your account moves back to the Curious tier, where 2 prospects remain viewable and others are archived — but nothing is deleted.
Does the 7-day guarantee apply to plan upgrades within the same billing cycle?
The guarantee covers your first paid billing period from Curious to any paid tier. If you're upgrading from Intentional to Devoted, contact support@uvettd.com to discuss the specifics of your situation.
I subscribed through the App Store — can UVettd refund me?
No. Apple and Google control billing for App Store and Google Play subscriptions. UVettd cannot issue or see these charges. Contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play Support to request a refund through their process.
