You want to know what comes after Standard — what the milestones are, when your commission rate goes up, and how to track your progress. This article covers the full milestone ladder from your first 25 active referrals to 2,500.
What "active referrals" means
An active referral is a subscriber who is currently on a paid UVettd plan and was referred within their 6-month commission window. Subscribers who have churned, are on a free plan, or whose 6-month window has closed do not count toward your active referral total. Your active count can go up and down depending on churn — it's a live number, not a historical one.
The full milestone ladder
- 25 active referrals — $150 cash bonus
- 50 active referrals — $250 cash bonus
- 100 active referrals — $500 cash bonus + Licensed Partner tier + 35% commission rate
- 250 active referrals — $1,000 cash bonus
- 500 active referrals — $2,500 cash bonus + additional Licensed tier benefits
- 1,000 active referrals — $5,000 cash bonus
- 2,500 active referrals — $10,000 cash bonus
Bonuses are paid once per milestone — you receive each bonus the first time you hit that threshold. Milestone bonuses are paid on the same net-30 schedule as commissions and will appear as a separate line item in your Commission tab.
Licensed Partner tier — what you get at 100
At 100 active referrals, your account automatically upgrades to the Licensed Partner tier. The commission rate increase to 35% applies to your active referrals going forward from the upgrade date. Licensed Partners also receive:
- Custom branding options on your co-branded landing page
- Quarterly strategy call with the UVettd partner team
- Priority support channel — your support tickets are routed to the front of the queue
At 500 active referrals, additional Licensed tier benefits become available. Details are communicated directly to partners when they reach that milestone.
How to track your milestone progress
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Open the Commission tab.
- Scroll to the Milestone Progress bar at the bottom of the tab.
The progress bar shows your current active referral count, the next milestone target, and how far along you are. It updates in real time as referrals convert and as subscribers churn.
What happens if referrals churn and your count drops
If churn brings your active referral count below 100, your commission rate reverts from 35% to 30% on future earnings. This applies to ongoing commissions from that point forward — it does not retroactively change commissions already paid. Your Licensed tier status is tied to your live active count, not a lifetime high-water mark. Milestone bonuses you've already received are not affected by churn.
Common questions about this topic
- How close am I to Licensed tier?
- Check the Milestone Progress bar in Dashboard → Commission tab. It shows your current active referral count and how many more you need to reach 100. If you're near 100, it's worth reviewing which of your referrals are inside vs. outside their 6-month commission window — subscribers approaching the end of their window will cycle off your active count.
- Do milestone bonuses count toward my monthly payout?
- Yes — milestone bonuses are included in your net-30 payout for the month in which you hit the milestone. They appear as a separate line item in your Commission tab alongside your regular commission earnings.
- What if my referrals churn — do I lose my Licensed status?
- If your active referral count drops below 100 due to churn, your commission rate reverts to 30% and Licensed status is paused until you return to 100 active referrals. Bonuses you've already received for previous milestones are yours to keep regardless. Licensed status reactivates automatically when your active count returns to 100.
- Can I reach a milestone, lose it, and earn the bonus again?
- No. Each milestone bonus is paid once, the first time you reach that threshold. If your count drops below a milestone and you climb back past it, the bonus is not paid again.
