You want to give your audience a reason to act now and a place to land that feels like a real recommendation from you — not a generic signup page. Promo codes and your co-branded page are built for exactly that.

How promo codes work

You can have up to three active promo codes at any time. Each code gives your audience a discount on their first month of UVettd. When someone signs up using your code, the signup is automatically attributed to your account — the same way a referral link works.

The standard audience discount is 15% off their first month. This discount is funded entirely by UVettd. It does not come out of your commission. Your commission is calculated on the full subscription price before the discount, so you're never penalized for offering your audience a deal.

How to create a promo code

  1. Go to your Dashboard and open the Promo Codes tab.
  2. Click Create Code.
  3. Enter a code name — this is what your audience will type at checkout. Keep it short and memorable (e.g., your name, your handle, or a platform abbreviation).
  4. Your new code is immediately active. Copy it and add it to your content.

To deactivate a code you no longer want to promote, go back to the Promo Codes tab and toggle it off. Deactivated codes stop working at checkout immediately.

Using different codes for different platforms

You can create up to three active codes simultaneously, which means you can run different codes across different platforms at the same time. Many partners use one code for Instagram, one for email, and one for YouTube. Each code is attributed separately, so you can track which platform drove the most conversions.

Your co-branded landing page

Every Certified Partner gets a co-branded landing page at uvettd.com/partners/[your-username]. This page is designed to feel like a recommendation from you — not a cold UVettd marketing page. You can customize your bio, upload a profile photo, and edit the call-to-action text so it reflects how you talk about the product to your audience.

To edit your co-branded page, go to Dashboard → Profile → Edit Partner Page. Changes publish immediately.

Where to use your co-branded page

  • Bio links — Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn all accept a single bio link. Your co-branded page is a better destination than a generic uvettd.com link.
  • Email signatures — A short line like "I use UVettd for dating — here's my page" with the link converts consistently.
  • YouTube descriptions — Include the link in the first two lines of your description so it's visible before the "more" fold.
  • Content posts — Any time you mention UVettd in a caption, story, or blog post, your co-branded page is the right destination.

Common questions about this topic

Does my audience's discount come out of my commission?
No. The 15% discount is funded entirely by UVettd. Your commission is calculated on the full subscription price before any discount is applied. Offering a promo code costs you nothing.
Can I offer a higher discount than 15%?
Not through the standard program. If you have a large audience and want to discuss a custom promotion, reach out to the partner team at support@uvettd.com. Custom discount arrangements are handled case by case.
Can I have different promo codes for different platforms?
Yes — that's exactly what the three-code limit is designed for. You can run one code on Instagram, one in your email list, and one on YouTube at the same time. Each code is tracked separately in your Promo Codes tab so you can see which platform converts best.
What happens if I already have three active codes and want to create a new one?
Deactivate one of your existing codes first. Go to the Promo Codes tab, toggle off the code you're retiring, and then create your new one. Deactivated codes stop working at checkout immediately.
