If you're running low on AI messages before your billing cycle resets, usage packs let you keep going without waiting. Here's everything you need to know.

What a Usage Pack Is

A usage pack adds 100 AI messages to your account for $19.99. Messages in a usage pack never expire — they stay in your account until you use them. There is no monthly deadline, no reset date, and no penalty for holding them. Once purchased, they are yours to use at your own pace.

Who Can Buy Usage Packs

Usage packs are available on all paid plans: Intentional and Devoted. They are not available on the Curious (free) tier. If you're on Curious and need more messages, upgrading to Intentional gives you 150 included messages per month plus the ability to purchase packs.

How to Purchase

  1. Go to Account → Billing in the UVettd app.
  2. Select Buy Usage Pack.
  3. Complete the Stripe checkout — you'll be charged $19.99 immediately.
  4. Your 100 messages are added to your account right away.

How Messages Are Drawn Down

Your monthly included messages are used first. Once your included balance hits zero, UVettd draws from your purchased usage packs automatically — oldest pack first. You don't need to activate anything or toggle a setting. The system handles the draw-down order for you.

Checking Your Balance

Your current message balance — included messages remaining plus any purchased pack messages — is shown in your Account dashboard. You can also see the balance in the message counter in the navigation bar (visible on Curious and Intentional tiers where limits apply).

Stacking Multiple Packs

You can buy as many usage packs as you need, at any time. There is no limit to how many packs you can hold. If you buy multiple packs, messages are drawn from them in the order they were purchased — oldest first.

Refund Policy

Usage packs are non-refundable once purchased. This applies whether or not you have used any of the messages. If you accidentally purchased a pack or have a billing concern, reach out to support@uvettd.com — we'll review the situation, though refunds are not guaranteed.

Common questions about this topic

Do usage packs expire?
No. Usage pack messages have no expiration date. They remain in your account indefinitely until you use them — even if your billing cycle resets, even if you switch plan tiers (as long as you stay on a paid plan).
What counts as one AI message?
Each message you send to Yvette in the Vetted chat counts as one AI message. System-initiated agentic calls — like your weekly Love(r)view refresh or Presence coaching responses — also count toward your balance. Your usage counter in Account shows your current total remaining across included messages and any purchased packs.
Can I buy a usage pack if I'm running low, before I completely run out?
Yes — you can purchase a usage pack at any time, even if you still have included messages remaining. Your included messages will continue to be used first, and the pack messages will be held in reserve until you need them.
What happens to my usage pack messages if I downgrade to Curious?
Usage packs are tied to paid plans. If you downgrade to the Curious tier, your unused pack messages are held on your account but cannot be accessed until you're back on a paid plan. They do not expire during this time.
Is $19.99 for 100 messages a better deal than upgrading?
It depends on your usage. If you consistently need more than your included plan messages, upgrading to the next tier may be more cost-effective than buying packs regularly. Usage packs are designed for occasional overflow — not as a substitute for a plan upgrade. Compare at uvettd.com/pricing.
