Presence is UVettd's daily journaling feature. It gives you a structured morning and evening practice built around gratitude and self-reflection, with AI coaching responses from Yvette to help you make sense of what you're noticing. The more consistently you show up, the more insight you accumulate over time.
Morning vs Evening Mode
Presence automatically detects the time of day and serves you the right template. Before noon, you get the morning prompt. After noon, you get the evening prompt. If you want to complete the other session manually, you can switch modes using the toggle at the top of the Presence screen.
Morning template:
- Three things you're grateful for
- What would make today great
- One intention word for the day
Evening template:
- Three amazing things that happened today
- How could I have made today even better
Your AI Coaching Response from Yvette
After you submit a Presence entry, Yvette generates a personalized coaching response. It typically arrives within about two minutes. The response reflects back patterns in what you wrote, offers a reframe or question to carry with you, and acknowledges the emotional tone of your entry. It's not a generic prompt — it's tailored to what you actually said.
Streaks and How They Work
Your streak counts any day you complete at least one Presence entry (morning or evening). Miss a day? You get a 24-hour grace period before your streak resets. When a streak does break, Yvette sends a warm recovery message — not a guilt trip. Starting again is always the right move.
Milestone moments to look forward to:
- Day 7: A referral nudge — share UVettd with someone who might benefit
- Day 21: Your affirmation library unlocks, giving you curated affirmations tied to your Compass values
- Day 30: You earn a shareable badge — proof you showed up for yourself
If You're in Chosen (Couples Mode)
When you and your partner are both in Chosen, a Sunday synthesis is automatically generated from both of your weekly Presence entries combined. This gives you shared insight as a couple without ever revealing what either of you wrote individually. Your entries stay yours — they are never shared with your partner, and UVettd cannot read them either.
Your Privacy
Presence entries are zero-knowledge encrypted. That means they're private not just by policy, but by architecture. Your partner cannot see them. UVettd staff cannot see them. No one can see them except you. This is by design — reflection is most honest when it's truly private.
Common questions about this topic
- Can my partner see my Presence entries?
- No — never. Presence entries are zero-knowledge encrypted, which means they're only readable by you. Even in Chosen, the Sunday synthesis is generated from both entries together, but neither partner's individual entries are ever visible to the other.
- What happens if I miss a day?
- You get a 24-hour grace period before your streak resets. If it does reset, Yvette will send you an encouraging recovery message. Your history stays intact — only the streak counter resets. You can start building again immediately.
- When does my AI coaching response arrive?
- Yvette's coaching response typically arrives within about two minutes of you submitting an entry. It will appear in your Presence feed below your submission. You'll also get a notification if you have them enabled.
- Can I complete both morning and evening entries on the same day?
- Yes. You can complete both sessions in a single day using the mode toggle at the top of the Presence screen. Only one entry per day is needed to maintain your streak, but there's nothing stopping you from doing both.
- Does Presence count toward my AI message limit?
- No. Yvette's Presence coaching responses are separate from the Vetted evaluation messages. Presence coaching does not count against your monthly message allowance.
