Lens — Certification for Intentional Daters

Deepen your understanding of the CAMERA Method™ — and earn recognized certifications along the way.

Lens is UVettd's certification video library. It's the learning path for people who don't just want to use the tools — they want to understand what drives the evaluations, build genuine self-awareness, and grow alongside a partner if they have one. Each level builds on the last, and each badge you earn is a real signal of the work you've done.

Level 1 — Clear-Eyed

Clear-Eyed is the foundational certification. It covers the core concepts behind the CAMERA Method™, how the UVettd Compass works, and why intentional dating starts with knowing yourself before evaluating anyone else. To earn it, you'll watch the Level 1 video series and complete the associated reflection prompts at the end of each module.

Completing Clear-Eyed unlocks your Level 1 badge and gives you access to expanded Vetted evaluation prompts — Yvette's questions become more nuanced once the system recognizes you've built this foundation.

Level 2 — Attuned

Attuned goes deeper into the CAMERA Method™. The Level 2 series explores each of the six dimensions — Chemistry, Accountability, Maturity, Ethics, Reliability, Aspiration — in detail, including how to recognize them in early conversations and how your own scores in each dimension affect who you attract. You must complete Level 1 before starting Level 2.

Earning Attuned unlocks more advanced reflection templates in Presence and signals to Love(r)view that your evaluations are backed by a working knowledge of the framework.

Level 3 — Aligned

Aligned is the first couples certification. Both partners must earn it together — you can't complete Level 3 alone. The series covers relational dynamics, how two Compass profiles interact, and how couples can use the CAMERA Method™ to build explicit shared understanding rather than assumptions. Both partners complete the same video modules and reflection exercises independently, then compare insights in a guided joint prompt.

Completing Aligned unlocks the Chosen synthesis features and contributes to the Enduring badge path.

Level 4 — Enduring

Enduring is the complete heart badge — and it's the most meaningful thing you can earn in Lens. It's available only to couples who have both completed Levels 1 through 3. The Level 4 series focuses on long-term relational health: how values evolve over time, how to use UVettd as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time assessment, and what intentional commitment looks like in practice. The Enduring badge represents a shared body of work, not just a milestone.

How Video Progress Is Tracked

All Lens videos are embedded directly at /lens in the app. Progress is tracked automatically — the system marks each video as complete when you've watched it through, and reflection prompts unlock in sequence. You can pause and resume at any time. Your progress persists across sessions and devices.

Badges and Sharing

Each Lens level comes with its own badge — a distinct visual design that signals what you've completed. You can download any badge you've earned from the Lens screen and share it anywhere you share yourself: dating profiles, social media, or anywhere that matters to you. Couples badges (Aligned and Enduring) are issued to both partners.

Common questions about this topic

Do I need to complete Level 1 before Level 2?

Yes. Lens is a sequential path — each level builds on the vocabulary and concepts of the one before it. You must earn the Clear-Eyed certification before Attuned unlocks, and Attuned before Aligned becomes available.

Can I earn Lens certifications on the free (Curious) plan?

Level 1 Clear-Eyed is available on all plans, including Curious. Levels 2 through 4 require an Intentional or Devoted subscription to access.

What does the Enduring badge mean?

Enduring is the highest certification in Lens, available only to couples who have both completed all four levels together. It represents a sustained, shared investment in understanding yourselves and each other through the CAMERA Method™. It's not a quick achievement — it means real work happened.

What if my partner and I are at different levels?

Each of you progresses through Levels 1 and 2 independently. Level 3 requires both partners to complete the modules, but you don't have to do it at the same pace — you just both need to finish before the Aligned certification is issued.

Is there a time limit on completing a Lens level?

No. You can move through the levels at your own pace. Progress is saved indefinitely, and there's no expiration on partially completed levels.
