We know billing questions are stressful — here's exactly what to do if you see a charge you don't recognize.

If you see a charge you don't recognize, contact us before filing a dispute with your bank. We can resolve almost anything faster than the chargeback process — usually the same day.

Why Your Statement Shows "Meredith Ventures 93 LLC"

UVettd charges appear on your bank or credit card statement as Meredith Ventures 93 LLC — not "UVettd." This is normal. Meredith Ventures 93 LLC is the legal billing entity that operates UVettd, and it's the name Stripe is registered under for payment processing.

This naming difference is the most common reason subscribers don't recognize a charge. If you see "Meredith Ventures 93 LLC" and you have or have had a UVettd subscription, that charge is almost certainly from us. The amount will match your Intentional ($29/mo or $288/yr) or Devoted ($49/mo or $468/yr) subscription.

How to Resolve an Unrecognized Charge Without a Chargeback

  1. Email support@uvettd.com with the charge date and amount.
  2. Include your account email address if you have one.
  3. We'll look up the charge and respond same day — typically within a few hours during business hours.

If the charge is legitimate, we'll explain exactly what it's for. If something went wrong on our end, we'll make it right immediately — often faster than a bank dispute would ever resolve.

What Happens If a Chargeback Is Filed

If a chargeback is filed with your bank, your UVettd account is automatically suspended pending resolution. This happens even if you ultimately win the dispute. A suspended account cannot be accessed until the chargeback is resolved.

Chargebacks also take weeks to resolve through the bank process. Contacting us directly is almost always faster and results in a better outcome for everyone.

For Partners

If you're a UVettd partner and a referred subscriber files a chargeback, the associated commission is reversed per the partner agreement. This applies regardless of the outcome of the dispute. If you have questions about a specific case, contact support@uvettd.com.

Resolving an Active Chargeback

If a dispute is already in progress, contact us at support@uvettd.com right away. We can provide transaction documentation — including payment confirmation, subscription history, and usage records — that can help you or your bank resolve the dispute quickly. We respond to all active chargeback inquiries as a priority.

What if someone else used my card to subscribe to UVettd?
If you believe the charge is genuinely fraudulent — meaning you never had a UVettd account — email us right away at support@uvettd.com. We can verify whether an account exists for your email and work with Stripe to address unauthorized use.
