Meeting Prep — Getting Ready Before a Significant Interaction

Video 2.5 — Advanced Chat: Getting More From Yvette — coming soon to the Lens tab.
Meeting Prep is designed to help you walk into any important interaction with clarity about what you're trying to learn — not a script, not a checklist, but a focused sense of which signals are worth paying attention to given what you already know about this person.
What Meeting Prep Generates
When you run Meeting Prep for a prospect, Yvette pulls from their current CAMERA Method™ Report and your Compass to generate three things:
- Observation gaps — which CAMERA Method™ dimensions currently have Low or Medium evidence, and what kinds of interactions would generate data for them. If you have high-confidence scores for Consistency and Mutuality but thin data for Emotional Regulation, Meeting Prep will surface that.
- Conversation thread suggestions — not questions to ask verbatim, but themes and territory worth exploring naturally. These are calibrated to your specific evidence gaps, not generic date topics.
- Never-Agains to watch for — if any of your Never-Agains have partial signals or haven't been definitively ruled out yet, Meeting Prep flags them so you're paying attention to the right things without being hypervigilant about everything.
How to Access Meeting Prep
From your Dashboard → Meeting Prep → select a prospect. Meeting Prep is available for any prospect who has at least one logged evaluation in Vetted. The output updates each time you access it — if you've logged new observations since the last time you ran Meeting Prep for this person, the gaps and suggestions will reflect that.
When to Use It
Meeting Prep is named for dates, but it works for any meaningful interaction — a phone call where something feels unresolved, a follow-up conversation after a difficult moment, a third date where you're trying to get a clearer read on something specific. The trigger is a significant upcoming interaction where you want to observe intentionally, not just "before a first date."
It's particularly useful when you've had a high-emotion recent interaction and want to check whether your evaluation is staying grounded. If your ClearRank triggered a drift alert this week, running Meeting Prep before the next interaction gives you a focused frame for what to observe that can either confirm or settle the alert.
How to Use the Output
Meeting Prep output is guidance, not a script. The conversation thread suggestions are themes — not questions to recite. Yvette knows that natural conversation produces better behavioral observation than an interrogation does. The goal is for you to go in knowing what you're paying attention to, not performing a structured interview.
After the interaction, log your observations in Vetted while they're fresh. The Meeting Prep output stays accessible in the prospect's profile, so you can cross-reference what you saw against what you were watching for.
What Meeting Prep Is Not
Meeting Prep won't tell you what to say, how to impress someone, or how to manage their impression of you. It's calibrated entirely toward observation — helping you see more clearly, not project more effectively. If you're looking for date tips or conversation starters as social tools, that's outside what UVettd is built for. What UVettd is built for is helping you understand who you're actually sitting across from.
Common questions about this topic
- Will Meeting Prep tell me what to say?
- No — and that's intentional. Meeting Prep tells you what to observe: which CAMERA Method™ dimensions need more evidence, which Never-Again signals haven't been ruled out, and which themes might naturally surface relevant behavioral data. The conversation itself is yours. The more natural it is, the better the behavioral information you'll come away with.
- How is it different from just looking at the CAMERA Method™ Report?
- Your CAMERA Method™ Report shows you what you've already observed. Meeting Prep shows you what you still need to observe — specifically, which dimensions have thin evidence and what kinds of moments would help fill those gaps. It's forward-looking where the report is backward-looking. Together they give you a complete picture of where you are and where to look next.
- Does it work for second and third dates too?
- Yes, and honestly it's often more useful after the first date than before it. By the second or third interaction, you have some observations already logged, which means Yvette can give you more targeted guidance on the specific gaps in your evaluation — rather than general themes that apply to any first conversation with anyone.
- What if Meeting Prep flags a Never-Again I thought I'd already resolved?
- A Never-Again flag in Meeting Prep means Yvette has seen partial signals that haven't been definitively confirmed or ruled out yet — not that it's been triggered. She'll keep it visible until the evidence is clear in either direction. That's exactly the right time to pay attention to it — before a conclusion has been reached, while you can still observe clearly.
- Can I use Meeting Prep for someone I've been seeing for a while?
- Absolutely. Meeting Prep is calibrated to wherever the evaluation currently stands, regardless of how long you've been seeing the person. For longer-term prospects, it's often useful after a significant relationship event — a conflict, a conversation about the future, a period of distance — when you want to re-ground your observations in the CAMERA framework rather than process by feeling alone.
